Football Introduction to the Addition of Positive and Negative Integers

1.

The PARENTHESIS SIGN( ) is put around a number to separate the POSITIVE SIGN from the

NEGATIVE SIGN. Example: 6 + (-) 3. When the FOOTBALL PLAYER(s) is running TOWARD

the End Zone (POSITIVE SIGN (+)) and they meet another PLAYER(s)running AWAY from

the End Zone (NEGATIVE SIGN (-)), those running AWAY from the End Zone will turn around

and Cover FOOTBALL PLAYERS running TOWARD the End Zone. We want to see how many

FOOTBALL PLAYERS are left Uncovered running AWAY from or TOWARD the End Zone.
