Knights Introduction to the Addition of Negative Integers

The PARENTHEIS SIGN ( ) is put around a number to separate the Positive Sign from the

NEGATIVE SIGN.  Example: 6 + (-) 3

The NEGATIVE SIGN in front of a number means that the KNIGHT or HORSE is running

AWAY from the Forest. For example, a negative  7  is Seven Horses or Knights running

AWAY from the Forest.
